How do MediWallet Points work?

For every spend at Clicks using your MediWallet card, we will reward you 10% BACK in MediWallet Points (MWP).

Pay using MediWallet at Clicks and get 10% BACK in MWP. Manage your points using the MediWallet App and set your points to spend mode when you are ready to use them. Accumulate your points and use them as a discount on your next spend at any MediWallet partner.

Manage your Points

Track your points and decide when and where you want to use them by changing the mode of your points. Set your points to earn or spend mode using the MediWallet App/Customer Portal.

Earn Mode

Earn points until you'd like to use them.

Spend Mode

Use your points as a discount on your next spend.

If you want your points to accumulate when you spend at Clicks, simply keep your points in earn mode.
When you want to use your MWP, simply change your points to spend mode.
Once your points are in spend mode, it will automatically be credited to your account and used on your next spend.

Use your points as a discount on your next spend

If you want to use your MWP at Clicks - points carry half their usual value (1 MWP = 50c) - e.g. a R50 spend at Clicks would use 100 MWP.

If you want to use your MWP at a MediWallet Network Partner (excluding Clicks) - points carry their full value (1 MWP = R1) – e.g. a R50 spend at any other partner would use 50 MWP

Terms & Conditions

You only earn MediWallet Points when you swipe your MediWallet card at Clicks.

You earn 10% of your spend back in MediWallet Points: 1 MWP = R1.

You only earn MediWallet Points when your points are in earn mode.

You do not earn points on a spend at Clicks if your points are in spend mode.

MediWallet Points can be set to spend mode when you want to use it at participating Partners in the MediWallet Network.

Once your points have been set to spend mode, it will automatically be credited to your account and will be used on your next spend.

Your points will automatically set back to earn mode when you have no more points to spend.

If you use your points at Clicks, points carry half their usual value (1 MWP = 50c).

If you use your points at any other MediWallet Partner (excluding Clicks), points carry their full value (1 MWP = R1).

You can only use your MediWallet Points when your account is up to date and able to transact. Points are disabled in the following instances:

When your account is in arrears.

When your account has been closed.

When transactions on your account have been disabled for any other reason.

You cannot use your MediWallet Points to pay your Account when you are in arrears.

You cannot offset your MediWallet Account balance with your MediWallet Points.

You cannot use your MediWallet Points to purchase a MediWallet voucher.

In the event of the account being written off, your MediWallet Points will be deducted from the write off balance.

This promotion excludes spend at Clicks Pharmacy using MediWallet.

MediWallet Points expire after 12 months when not spent.
